“Light-bodied Saranac starts crisp and sparkling on the tongue,
leaving a more subdued mouthfeel after the first swallows. The clear, classic golden body’s
restrained but perky hop aroma and taste smooth out going down the throat. Although it loses some impact along the
way, a dry-hopped aspect keeps the aromatics and flavors pumped up to
acceptable levels. This is an
accommodating beer whose multiple taste characteristics are easy to

ひとこと：「サラナック」は、６本パックの中に、ペールエール、アンバー、ブラック＆タン、ピルズナー、ラガー等等を揃えたバラエティパックが販売されていて、王冠が全て違うことから、王冠集めを始めた当初、お得感があって買ったことがある。味の方は残念ながらよく覚えていない。

garnet-colored caramel porter’s zippy butterscotch taste is sweet and sharp all
over the mouth. A mildly bitter
roasted quality provides additional zest and liveliness. It also tempers the brew’s initial
sweetness, though the butterscotch quality unquestionably remains long after
the bitterness has dissipated.
Saranac finishes caramel-buttery, but with an intriguing edge to it.”
